Nielsen College of Business reaccredited through IACBE

The Hans A. Nielsen College of Business at Charleston Southern University was granted reaffirmation of specialized business accreditation for 2025 to 2031 for its business degree programs Dec. 3, 2024, by the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.

The Nielsen College of Business has demonstrated compliance of its business programs with the IACBE Accreditation Principles for: 

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Arts in Organization Leadership
  • Master of Science in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor of Business Administration

In addition, the Nielsen College of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations. 

The International Accreditation Council for Business Education was founded in 1997 and is nationally recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The IACBE is the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and business-related education for colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions whose primary purpose is excellence in teaching and learning.
