Biomedical Science

Engage in an integrated study of biological issues related to health and medicine with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science including an in-depth study of God’s design of the human body as well as the environment in which humans and animals live. You will gain incomparable skills in growing and testing bacteria, maintaining sterile environments, growing mammalian cells along with the microscopy techniques required to view cell structure and physiology. Modern biotechnology such as PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, CRISPR, etc., is included. A variety of faculty-led research projects are open to student participation and may lead to student presentations at professional society meetings, publication in peer-reviewed journals, and participation in research competitions.

Engineering with a Biomedical Concentration

With a Bachelor of Science in engineering with a biomedical concentration, you will learn to improve human life with technological innovations. Due to the increased demand for advanced medical devices, and innovations in areas like 3D bioprinting, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence, a biomedical engineer can work as a key person in a wide range of roles. A strong background in mathematics and physics and an understanding of biology, anatomy, and physiology will prepare you to design and improve medical devices or equipment for research in life sciences.

Aeronautics: Air Traffic Management

The Bachelor of Science in aeronautics: air traffic management will prepare you for a professional role in air traffic control and National Airspace System (NAS) operations. The degree is built around CSU’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified Standard Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) curriculum. For students who are hired by the FAA and meet all eligibility requirements, Standard AT-CTI graduates may bypass the FAA Academy Air Traffic Basics course and move directly into option-specific initial training at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. The curriculum also builds broader aviation leadership skills through airport operations, safety management, and a capstone that strengthens applied research and professional communication.

Bachelor of Arts in musical theatre

Musical theatre students will gain a strong background in theatre and onstage experience including studies in voice, dance and other music courses. As a student of theatre, you will have the opportunity to prepare roles for or work on a minimum of two main stage productions a year and have the chance to perform, direct, or work on smaller productions. You will receive weekly voice lessons to hone your vocal technique and expand your understanding of a wide range of vocal repertoire. Personal attention in the classroom and practical experience through the production process will support your growth as a performer.

Bachelor of Science in kinesiology to Doctor of Physical Therapy

The kinesiology 3 + 2.5 DPT emphasis offers an accelerated undergraduate and graduate academic curriculum. While in the undergraduate curriculum you will meet each semester with a licensed physical therapist to ensure you are achieving the expected academic progress and are active in campus-based activities. You will build a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, motor learning, exercise physiology, and evidence-based practice. Students will be involved in professional development, observational experiences, and service-learning opportunities to understand the expectations and responsibilities of the physical therapy profession before transitioning to doctoral studies.

Upon progression into the DPT program, you will engage in advanced coursework in musculoskeletal, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric physical therapy, along with clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and patient management. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on laboratory instruction, interprofessional collaboration, and integration of current research into clinical practice. Students complete four, full-time clinical education experiences across diverse practice settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and specialized rehabilitation environments, preparing you for licensure and professional practice.

Bachelor of Business Administration in sport management
