About Clinical Rotations

Supervised clinical experiences or clinical rotations are of critical importance to a successful learning experience for our students. Students in the program are required to complete a variety of clinical experiences.

Additionally, students must complete three 10-week full-time clinical experiences. Full-time experiences will include inpatient, outpatient, and student choice. Under the supervision of clinical instructors, students will progressively develop the skills and clinical judgment necessary to become a practicing PT.

Becoming a Partner

The Department of Physical Therapy affiliates with a numerous of hospitals, clinics, and facilities. Entry-level skills and knowledge needed in the general practice of physical therapy are obtained through working in a variety of settings and with patients of all ages and health conditions. Working in partnership with clinical sites, the goal of the clinical education program is to provide excellent clinical experiences emphasizing patient/client management that incorporates all aspects of professionalism. If you are interested in being a clinical instructor for the CSU DPT Program, contact Dr. Amanda Feller, Director of Clinical Education, at afeller@csuniv.edu or by phone at 843-863-7188, or by clicking below.
