We are pleased to assist recruiters by providing on-campus recruiting services. As students search for internships, career, and volunteer opportunities, we strive to provide the optimal setting to connect them with avenues to learn, lead, and serve within your organization. Payments can be made through the Career Center page on CashNet.

The Career Center offers several tiers of sponsorship opportunities including career expo level sponsorships, standard career fair registration, standard career chat registration, and Sweet 16 sponsorship.

Any recruitment efforts can be made by contacting the Career Center through the Buccaneer Network. Anything from on-campus interviews to recruitment guidelines can be sorted through this portal.

The Career Center at Charleston Southern University educates and empowers students to become career-ready and helps students to identify and connect to their God-given passion, skills, and abilities. Internships

The Career Center posts internship positions from local, national, and international organizations on the BucCareer Network. Businesses post and update internship positions and their status on a daily basis. To inquire about setting up an internship, contact Dr. Melissa Parker at email mparker@csuniv.edu.

Experiential Learning: Beginning with the entering class of 2018-2019, all students graduating from Charleston Southern University are required to complete one Experiential Learning Requirement (ELR) as part of the Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI). In order to satisfy this requirement, students must successfully complete one course earning a minimum of one credit hour with an ELR designation. This designation is noted in the course description. ELR classes include internships, clinicals, practicums, field courses, travel courses, applied learning, or career planning courses, among others.

Church Resources

Charleston Southern University seeks to develop students who will have a broad-based liberal arts education and Christian values. CSU offers a dynamic outreach ministry to churches and ministry-related organizations called Faithful Servants. You can post church and/or ministry positions, full or part-time, and review applicants. For more information, visit Church Relations or Campus Ministries.

Job expos and career fairs can be critical tools for job search success whether job-seekers use them to get internships or jobs, or use them as a networking tool for future employment. Our Career Expos and Education Fairs are designed to connect you with Charleston Southern University graduates and current students to discuss employment and graduate studies. We invite you to register to reserve a table for our expos, held each fall and spring. Registration is open to businesses, nonprofits, churches, school districts and graduate schools.
